Welcome to Springdales Public School.Everyone involved with the Springdales Public School is united by a common desire to make the world a better place. We are inspired by John F. Kennedy’s famous call to service: “Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” Each one of us believes we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to advance the public interest.
The middle years are time for growth, challenge and discovery. At Springdales, we encourage and prepare students to participate fully, to take risks, to be self-advocates, and to create lasting memories and relationships with their peers and staff. Our goal at Springdales is to provide an enriching, engaging, and challenging curriculum that will prepare students for success while at Springdales and for the years that follow. We believe that students, parents and teachers all play a vital role in helping students reach their greatest potential. Parents are encouraged to check their child’s progress regularly on our parent portal, which can be accessed via our school website. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many resources available to them- their teachers, the library, the computer labs, our after school academic and athletic offerings, and resource websites.
We invite you to learn about our programs and our language-rich curriculum.
English is the medium of instruction throughout the School. Hindi holds a place of very high importance in the curriculum and every effort is made to ensure that each child reaches a high standard in the language
For the class X CBSE Examination the School is able to offer a wide choice of discipline options. Apart from the compulsory subjects which include English, Hindi, Social Studies, Environmental Studies, Mathematics and Science, students are required to select at least one skill-based subject for the Examinations prescribed by the board as per the latest CCE norms. For the Class XII CBSE examination, the school offers Science and Commerce.
A talented and diverse teaching staff, outstanding facilities and technology, and active and dedicated parents all work in concert to provide our students with Cambridge education that paves the way for them to continue their post-Senior secondary education at world-class universities around the world.
At Springdales we recognize that social/emotional development is as essential to student success as academics during these transition years. Students are encouraged to participate in inter-house and inter-school sports and clubs after school, attend the grade level team building activities, participate in school spirit activities, and join in our community service projects. There is truly something for everyone.
Quality education is the only way to national development, survival and contributing to a better world order. The system of education gets changed and modified with the changing needs and aspirations of the society. The Indian system of education has a solid foundation. It incorporates relevant content and introduces innovations in methodology in keeping with the global needs and identifying the unique nature of each learner. Realizing the significance of creative and independent thinking ability, child centered and activity based process has been introduced.
The foundation for our students’ success is based on the partnership among students, staff, and parents. Active parent participation is very important. The staff provides a nurturing environment in which our young adolescents can learn and thrive. Their work, paired with our involved and supportive parent community, has and will continue to support us to fulfill our school mission.
With best wishes
